About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bank Cleaner to join our team at St Bartholomew's Court, Rye. As a Bank Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all communal areas, offices, and the kitchen to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake general duties as assigned, including maintaining the cleanliness of all communal areas, offices, and the kitchen
  • Ensure all cleaning duties are completed to a high standard
  • Identify and report potential faults and hazards on site to maintain a safe environment
  • Maintain stock levels, restock as required, and ensure equipment is used in line with guidance notes
  • Assist in preparing meals and drinks, following food hygiene standards, and ensuring the needs of our customers are met
  • Ensure customers' privacy and dignity are maintained and respected

Requirements

  • Working knowledge and experience of undertaking general cleaning duties is desirable
  • Some experience of working in a domestic/catering environment
  • Level 2 diploma in housekeeping/catering, or willingness to work towards
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills
  • A general understanding of health and safety in the workplace
