eFX Application Support Specialist

Hawksworth is seeking a skilled eFX Application Support Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support for our Global FX Sales and Trading teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide 1st and 2nd line trade floor support, incident management, and resolution for our eFX Trading environment.
- Ensure market and client connectivity, including knowledge of FIX, FIX onboarding, firewalls, networking, and Unix.
- Support FX Spot, FX Fwds, FX Swaps, NDF, and FX Options.
- Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline.
- General understanding of financial markets and products, particularly FX.
- Experience in IT for capital markets, including business, products, and applications.
- Extensive experience supporting a live eFX Trading environment.
- Strong experience providing technical support for FX or Fixed Income Desks within an Investment Bank.
- Experience in IT support and service management.
- Candidates will ideally have worked in a fast-moving, high-pressure environment supporting mission-critical applications and/or infrastructure, facing off to demanding customers.
- Strong experience working with both project teams and users.
- Strong knowledge of FX Products, FX Venues and Liquidity, Application administration, Windows/UNIX administration, Sales & Trading business processes, Capital Market, IT Broker systems, and IT Architecture.
