Job Overview

As a Regulatory Compliance Specialist at ABM Global Compliance, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring adherence to industry regulations and internal policies. Your expertise will help safeguard the organization against compliance risks while promoting a culture of integrity and accountability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate and document policies and procedures related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) compliance.
  • Perform regular audits and assessments to verify compliance with established standards.
  • Generate comprehensive reports that include actionable recommendations based on audit findings.
  • Engage with clients to address inquiries and concerns regarding compliance and ethical practices.
  • Conduct thorough research to identify the root causes of compliance challenges.
  • Design and implement training programs on updated AML/KYC regulations to ensure employee awareness.
  • Interview staff and gather information to confirm adherence to compliance protocols across all departments.
  • Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations to maintain compliance standards.
  • Evaluate the implications of new regulatory changes on the organization and propose necessary adjustments.
  • Enhance auditing processes to proactively prevent compliance issues or resolve them efficiently.
  • Support the timely preparation and submission of reports to regulatory authorities.
  • Investigate any irregularities or compliance breaches and provide guidance for prompt resolution.
  • Review marketing materials and company communications to ensure they meet regulatory requirements.
  • Assist the Compliance team in delivering updates and reports on regulatory matters to senior management.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of compliance and financial crime policies.
Qualifications
  • In-depth knowledge of HMRC Supervisions related to the Financial Sector.
  • Proficient in FCA communications.
  • Strong understanding of third-party payment regulations and compliance.
  • Familiarity with Prudential rules.
  • At least 2 years of experience in auditing and compliance verification.
  • Experience with accounting and taxation systems.
  • Master's degree required.
  • ACCA qualification is mandatory.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong reporting and organizational abilities.
  • Proactive attitude with a confident approach.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Experience managing deadline-driven projects with minimal oversight.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
