Kenton Black Finance is supporting a business based in the Salford area who have been operating for over 30 years. The company provides a professional team who specialise in bespoke installations, fit outs and refurbishment.

Job Overview:

The company is currently recruiting for an Accounts Manager to work on a full-time and permanent basis. The successful candidate will have experience of working with the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage VAT records on a quarterly basis.
  • Process monthly CIS submissions for HMRC.
  • Verify new sub-contractors and ensure CIS compliance.
  • Prepare and submit CITB monthly summaries and end-of-year reports.
  • Create customer invoices and payment certificates.
  • Chase overdue customer invoices.
  • Set up new customers in Sage and manage their accounts.
  • Process monthly journals and payroll.
  • Manage expenses and complete monthly statements.
  • Maintain holiday logs and match purchase invoices to POs.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing financial operations, including payroll, expenses, and accounts payable. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with the management team.
