Autism Support Assistant - Unqualified Job Description

We are seeking a confident and compassionate Autism Support Assistant - Unqualified to join our team at a creative and inclusive Primary School in Acton. As an Autism Support Assistant - Unqualified, you will work alongside a motivated team of specialist teachers, therapists, and inclusion staff to provide support for pupils with various Special Educational Needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with Autism in a Primary School setting
  • Work collaboratively with the inclusion team to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assist with the development and implementation of individualized support plans for pupils with Autism
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to pupils with Autism
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and supportive classroom environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with Autism
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Passion for supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs

What We Offer:

  • Competitive daily rate of £105-£115
  • Full-time, full academic year, term-time only position
  • ASAP or September 2024 start
  • Opportunity to work with a motivated and experienced team
