About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team at Niyaa People, a leading regeneration specialist dedicated to delivering exceptional solutions to the social housing sector. As an Electrical Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in the daily delivery of photovoltaic (PV) and general domestic electrical installations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervision and Leadership: Lead and oversee the installation of photovoltaic (PV) systems and general electrical upgrades, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality results.
  • Inspections and Compliance: Conduct Pre-Installation Building Inspections (PIBI's) in line with PAS2030, guaranteeing compliance with MCS and PAS2030 standards, and maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.
  • Planning and Support: Assist with planning submissions, DNO applications, and internal audits, providing expert technical support and guidance to the team.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure all health and safety requirements are met, producing risk assessments, and managing material orders to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Design and Documentation: Contribute to the development of design processes and assist with Construction Phase Plans and post-construction documentation in line with CDM, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Client and Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors, fostering effective communication and progress reporting.
  • Tender Support: Assist with bids, tenders, and technical document preparation for sustainable projects, showcasing our expertise and commitment to excellence.
Requirements
  • Leadership and Technical Expertise: Excellent management skills with the ability to mentor, motivate, and lead the team, combined with a solid electrical background and a good understanding of renewable technologies.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with excellent writing, presentation, and time management abilities, enabling effective collaboration and communication.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: A proactive, analytical mindset with a passion for optimization and improvement, driving innovation and excellence in our projects.
  • Attention to Detail and Team Spirit: Meticulous record-keeping and the ability to influence processes across departments, combined with a professional approach and a collaborative mindset.
