Key Responsibilities
  • Advising Landlord Members
    • Provide expert advice and guidance to landlord members on various aspects of the private rental sector, including legislation, regulations, and best practices.
    • Respond to member inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
    • Log and track member interactions for future reference and to identify areas for improvement.
    • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the private rental sector, staying up-to-date on the latest developments and trends.

Requirements
  • Qualifications
    • GCSE level or equivalent in English and Maths.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide exceptional support.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and similar software.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Experience
    • Experience in the private rental sector or social housing, either through local authority, letting agency, or property management company.
    • Experience in administration or office environment, or home working.
    • Experience in dealing with the public, with strong listening skills and resilience.
  • Knowledge
    • Understanding of Landlord and Tenant Law.
    • Knowledge of the Private Rented Sector.
    • Familiarity with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).
  • Personal Attributes
    • Self-organization and ability to work in a professional and confidential manner.
    • Ability to work within a team and individually, under pressure at times of high demand.
