About the Role

Nomo Fintech is a cloud-based Fintech company that powers digital retail banking services. We're seeking an experienced Information Security Manager to help shape our cyber and data/information security practices.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement information security frameworks and policies.
  2. Assist with the implementation of security controls and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  3. Review security events and incidents, and participate in regulatory agency and collaborator/audit inspections.
  4. Provide support and advice to stakeholders on data compliance issues.
  5. Ensure the proper control of IT assets, including licensing and automation of controls.
  6. Stay up-to-date with cybersecurity developments, industry standard updates, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  7. Develop metrics to measure the quality of audit trail review and actions.
  8. Design security testing schedules and oversee penetration testing and vulnerability management.
  9. Provide information security awareness training to personnel.
  10. Identify information security risks and define remediation plans.
Requirements
  • IT experience, with a number of those gained within an information security role.
  • Experience of working as an IT Security Manager/Information Security Manager.
  • Experience of Data Compliance, IT support, cyber security, and service level agreements.
  • A working knowledge of the Data Protection Act and General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).
  • Strong working knowledge of SOC 2 controls.
Desirable Qualifications
  • A degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering or a related qualification.
