About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Business Partner to join our team at National Grid. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in providing financial leadership and partnering with our Customer Connections and Infrastructure Development & Delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage financial plans for Customer Connections and Infrastructure Development & Delivery.
  • Provide financial leadership and guidance to the Customer Connections and Infrastructure Development & Delivery teams.
  • Build and manage a high-performing finance team, ensuring strong succession planning for the CFO function.
  • Ensure budgets and forecasts are underpinned by robust business-owned assumptions.
  • Support the CFO in interpreting key financial metrics to inform business decisions.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization to drive business outcomes.
Requirements
  • Qualified Accountant with external audit or consulting experience.
  • Proven track record of driving commercial benefit and financial leadership.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and ability to form partnerships to drive business outcomes.
  • Engaged and engaging individual with the ability to lead and collaborate with teams.
  • Accountable for delivering financial performance and driving business outcomes.
