Job Summary:

The successful Senior Buyer will be responsible for planning and purchasing materials required for production in company facilities. To accomplish this, the Senior Buyer will utilize our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and other tools to track and monitor all materials from origin.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review inventory levels and place purchase orders to suppliers to support Newhaven and Hilden facilities.
  • Place EMEA purchase orders for non-product related activities as required.
  • Develop a comprehensive inventory control plan to ensure inventory accuracy and availability.
  • Monitor open purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Collaborate with the NA purchasing team to utilize our buying power against the total demand for materials.
  • Be aware of the latest trends in pricing to negotiate the best purchase price.
