As a Logistics Operative, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the thorough cleaning and sanitization of mattresses and cushions, adhering to strict Health & Safety protocols. This includes handling equipment that may have been in contact with infected individuals.
Key Responsibilities- Perform cleaning and decontamination of equipment, ensuring compliance with health guidelines.
- Transport cleaned items to the designated drying area.
- Wear appropriate color-coded Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in required zones.
- Accurately log serial and asset numbers of all collected equipment throughout the cleaning process, maintaining daily communication with the Sales Administrator.
- Complete necessary documentation and certificates as required.
- Follow the daily work schedule to ensure equipment is prepared for transport on designated days.
- Ensure all operational equipment is maintained, serviced, and calibrated before use.
- Provide support in various operational areas as needed.
- Adhere to the uniform policy, including the mandatory use of safety footwear.
- Conduct general cleaning tasks within the facility.
- Assist in warehouse operations, including stock management, customer deliveries, and courier dispatches when necessary.
A valid driving license is essential, and candidates must be prepared to participate in an on-call rota, covering out-of-hours call-outs for one week every six weeks, with an additional payment.
Work Schedule- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual who is comfortable lifting items weighing up to 15-20 KG. Reliability and commitment to the role are essential attributes.
