Job Summary:
NHS Scotland is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Primary Care Mental Health Nurse/Practitioner to join our team in Skye, Lochalsh & Wester Ross. As a key member of our dynamic service, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health care to individuals with mild to moderate mental health problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work within a multi-disciplinary community-based team to provide assessment, risk management, and psychological interventions to patients.
- Develop and implement strength-based recovery-focused approaches to treatment planning, involving patients as partners in their care.
- Provide sessional input to GP practices within NHS Highland (North) and form an integral part of the provision of mental health care at Tier 1 level.
- Supervise the practice of others, monitor/undertake mentorship responsibilities, and support the team leader in the ongoing learning and development of the staff team.
- Hold relevant post-registration qualification (BA, BSc, Diploma in Mental Health Nursing) and evidence of experience in delivering psychological therapies.
Requirements:

- Registration with an appropriate professional body.
