About Our Home

Ty Bronllys is nestled in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park, offering a charming rural setting with stunning landscapes and historic attractions. Our residents enjoy regular walks and hikes in the surrounding areas, visiting the local village and exploring the rolling hills and lush green fields.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personalised care to each person in their daily activities, including personal care, learning and social interactions.
  • Foster a safe and positive environment, ensuring the emotional and physical well-being of each person.
  • Implement individualised care plans, under the guidance of a supportive senior team.
  • Support our young people during recreational activities, outings and community integration.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Promote independence, self-esteem and confidence in our young people, celebrating their achievements and milestones.
Requirements
  • A compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Resilience and patience when faced with challenges, adapting to individual needs.
  • A willingness to learn and follow guidance from the team.
  • Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes.
  • Flexibility to work on a shift basis, including weekends and occasional night shifts.

Please note: This job role involves regulated activity with children and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
