About the Role
As the lead Financial Strategist for Capital Management, you will support Financial Planning and Analysis and Statutory Reporting, providing technical advice, maintaining Strategic Financial Plans, and ensuring compliance with Regulatory Requirements.
You'll play a pivotal role in monitoring Financial Activities related to Capital Projects, including the Investment and Acquisitions Strategy, and managing the Fixed Asset Register.
About You
To thrive in this role, you should be a fully or part-qualified Accountant with significant experience in Capital Finance, preferably within Local Government.
Your ability to communicate complex Financial Data to non-financial stakeholders will be key, as will your skill in challenging and supporting Project Managers to enhance Financial Planning and Management.
You will be expected to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines, and your proactive approach will help tackle Financial Challenges head-on.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Financial Planning and Analysis and Statutory Reporting
- Provide technical advice and maintain Strategic Financial Plans
- Ensure compliance with Regulatory Requirements
- Monitor Financial Activities related to Capital Projects

Requirements
- Fully or part-qualified Accountant
