Post Award Project Officer

Loughborough University is a leading institution in research and innovation, and we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Research and Innovation Support Team.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the core process activities for post award activities, including research awards, financial management, and project closure across all Loughborough University Schools and Departments.

You will work closely with a busy team to deliver high volumes of work accurately and efficiently, often to tight deadlines. We are looking for individuals who are proactive, adaptable, and have excellent attention to detail.

This is a full-time, fixed-term contract until 28th February 2026, with a starting salary of £28,879 per annum. We offer a range of benefits, including 22 days of annual leave, family-friendly policies, hybrid dynamic working arrangements, and access to fantastic on-campus and sports facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support post award activities, including research awards and financial management
  • Work closely with the Research and Innovation Support Team to deliver high volumes of work
  • Ensure accurate and efficient delivery of work, often to tight deadlines
  • Provide excellent attention to detail and be proactive in identifying solutions
