Job Description:

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Design Specialist to join our Retail Design and Visual Merchandising team. As a Freelance Store Designer, you will be responsible for creating and implementing retail concepts and visual merchandising strategies that align with our global guidelines.

Responsibilities:

Creative:

  • Develop and adapt new retail concepts and visual merchandising strategies to meet specific market needs.
  • Collaborate with the VM and RD Director and Senior RD Manager to align store design and visual merchandising strategy.
  • Research and analyze new trends and activities in design, fashion, and beauty to inform design recommendations.

Operational:

  • Manage end-to-end project development from conceptualization to installation.
  • Work with the European SD, VM, and Marketing teams to ensure consistent brand design deployment across all channels and markets.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to streamline creation of store design and visual merchandising elements.
  • Conduct tenders to ensure best price and service for each installation.
  • Regularly visit stores to ensure high-quality implementation and consistency with brand image guidelines.
  • Analyze and track sales performance and assess trial concepts.

General:

  • Establish and maintain consistent standards across the Retail Design department.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to provide design support for launch programs.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree in design, art, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Portfolio of previously created and implemented retail design projects.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and demands.
  • Willingness to travel (both UK and Europe).
