If you possess expertise in overseeing intricate civil projects and are dedicated to upholding exceptional safety and quality standards, we would be eager to connect with you.
Job Overview:
In the capacity of Site Supervisor, you will report directly to the Contracts Manager and be accountable for ensuring the effective execution of a complex civil construction project. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Upholding health & safety protocols on-site
- Facilitating toolbox discussions and various briefings
- Acquiring equipment and materials via the company system
- Supervising the workforce, labor, and subcontractors
- Contributing to the formulation of Safety Plans, Risk Assessments & Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)
- Maintaining precise site documentation including logs, allocation records, equipment returns, and delivery notes
- Monitoring subcontractors to ensure adherence to compliance checklists
- Coordinating with site personnel and subcontractors to maintain project timelines
- Ensuring that a Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS) and a Permit to Work framework are established prior to the commencement of tasks
Qualifications:
For this position, it is crucial that you possess the following professional certifications:
- First Aid Certification
- CSCS Certification
- Valid Driving License
- SMSTS / SSSTS Certification
