We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Deputy Director for Dispute Resolution Services. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Decontamination Services Manager in the operational day-to-day management of the sterile Services department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deputise for the Decontamination Manager, assuming managerial responsibility for meeting the requirements of the services clients and internal customers.
  • Support the delivery of the decontamination and sterilisation process for the Hospital, ensuring that instruments and equipment are appropriately decontaminated and sterilised.
  • Drive a culture of continual quality improvement, performing and managing internal and external audits.
  • Create, train, manage and support quality and service teams.
  • Work as part of a team providing a controlled decontamination service, reprocessing reusable medical devices.
Requirements:
  • Expert knowledge and experience in the decontamination of reusable medical devices.
  • City and Guilds in Management of Decontamination Process for Reusable Medical Devices and City and Guilds in Management of Flexible Endoscope Decontamination or willingness to undertake qualifications.
  • Adaptable and flexible, with ability to work under pressure and progress priorities / competing demands.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and support team working in a positive and challenging culture.
  • Preparation and presentation experience, including of performance, data, reports.
