About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our Acute Medical SDEC team at Fairfield General Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert clinical and professional support, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills and clinical attributes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, working independently with support from consultants and other healthcare professionals.
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures, ensuring best practice and evidence-based care.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of education and training programs for nursing and medical staff.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.

Requirements
  • Clinical based Master's Degree.
  • Post-basic qualification in specialty.
  • Non-Medical Prescriber (Independent).
  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration (Part 1 Adult / General Level 1 or 2) or AHP with current HCPC registration.
