Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with their daily lives, helping them to achieve their goals and live independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred care and support to individuals, promoting their independence and well-being
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users, their families, and other professionals
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring that they are tailored to meet the unique needs of each service user
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure that high-quality care is delivered consistently
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to care
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic IT skills and the ability to use digital systems
  • Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) and membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme
