Senior Project Manager / Building Surveyor

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager / Building Surveyor to join our team at Access Talent Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the delivery of multi-disciplinary projects from concept through to construction.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Deliver projects to agreed targets, including programme, budget, and quality
* Identify and agree project objectives with the Project Director and develop a strategy for achieving these
* Identify, escalate, and manage any matters that could pose a potential contractual/commercial risk to the Project Director
* Utilize commercial manager support to obtain a clear understanding of contractual obligations and negotiate amendments
* Set objectives and define tasks for the project team, delegate authority, and agree how risks will be shared as necessary
* Actively manage the project, both technically and financially, in accordance with corporate and business policies, directives, guidance, and procedures
* Monitor and report performance against programme, technical quality, financial, and KPI targets
* Lead the project team, building, motivating, maintaining, coaching, guiding, and developing the team
* Assemble and own the project delivery programme and delivery plans
* Close out the project on completion, archive project documentation, update market information, ensure that lessons learnt are captured and disseminated internally, and ensure that a Client Satisfaction survey is initiated

**Requirements**

* Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) or equivalent with demonstrable experience managing design commissions on large building/infrastructure projects
* Understands and has experience in deploying various forms of construction contracts, in particular NEC3 and JCT
* Experienced at preparing Scope Definition papers, Project Execution Plans, Risk Registers, Change Control Logs, and Client & Stakeholder Management plans
* Experience of managing design projects to time, cost, and quality objectives and familiar with programming and earned value techniques
* Familiar with BIM and has an understanding of 3D modelling tools for design and coordination purposes
* Holds a valid UK driving licence
