Location: Cumbria, on-site 2 days per week
Rate: £400 per day (Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: 12 months
Gattaca is in search of a dedicated and skilled Business Continuity Planner & Resilience Advisor. This role is pivotal in ensuring the stability and resilience of essential business functions within a highly regulated sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expert Consultation: Deliver specialized advice and support to enhance organizational resilience and business continuity, adhering to governmental standards and industry benchmarks.
- Incident Management: Assist in the incident management process for operations outside of regulated sites, ensuring that business priorities are maintained during emergencies.
- Plan Formulation: Work collaboratively with stakeholders to create and sustain business continuity strategies, impact assessments, recovery plans, and relevant documentation.
- Risk Assessment: Provide insights to teams regarding risks associated with information, facilities, reputation, and other vital business components.
- Resilience Drills: Participate in the design and execution of resilience drills, improving the organization’s readiness and response capabilities.
- Ongoing Development: Support the integration of lessons learned from drills to enhance resilience strategies and ensure continuous improvement.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Professional Credentials: Possess a relevant qualification in Resilience, Business Continuity, Risk Management, or a related discipline, or have equivalent experience.
- Program Development: Demonstrated experience in establishing Business Continuity programs aligned with ISO22301 or resilience initiatives aligned with ISO22316 within a corporate or regulated context.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Proven ability to identify and engage key stakeholders, building strong relationships to meet business goals.
- Performance Evaluation: Experience in supporting assessments, audits, and reviews of business continuity and resilience initiatives, focusing on ongoing enhancement.
- Best Practices Knowledge: Strong grasp of enterprise resilience and business continuity best practices.
- Industry Familiarity: Knowledge of standards, frameworks, and best practices in Enterprise Resilience, Business Continuity, and Emergency Management, particularly within critical infrastructure sectors.
- Project Management Skills: Proficient in project management methodologies, with experience in supporting significant projects and initiatives.
- Technical Documentation: Competent in drafting procedures, reports, and providing clear guidance to team members.
- Communication Proficiency: Skilled in delivering presentations and training sessions to staff and partners at all levels of the organization.
