About the Role:
Join a prominent manufacturing organization with multiple locations, as we seek a skilled Maintenance Technician to work on a 4 on 4 off shift schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a seasoned maintenance team to support production operations through comprehensive plant maintenance and repairs.
- Ensure optimal functionality of production and intake systems, minimizing downtime effectively.
- Proactively execute maintenance tasks according to a planned schedule, identifying and resolving issues as they arise.
- Engage with production teams to address breakdowns and manage any arising challenges, escalating issues when necessary.
Continuous Improvement:
As part of our commitment to excellence, you will focus on enhancing operational methodologies, identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and quality.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess experience in a manufacturing setting, demonstrating a balanced skill set in both mechanical and electrical disciplines. A minimum of 18th edition electrical certification is required, along with relevant qualifications such as an engineering apprenticeship or equivalent City and Guilds/NVQ certifications.
Working Conditions:
This position operates on a rotating shift pattern of 4 on 4 off, encompassing both day and night shifts, averaging 42 hours per week. The starting salary is competitive, with additional overtime compensated at a premium rate.
