Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the Payroll Team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Oversee the Pension Team and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Provide training and support to payroll staff on handling pay-related enquiries.
- Perform routine control checks and auditing on payroll processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Process end-to-end payroll when necessary, ensuring seamless operations.
- Provide analytical data and reports to stakeholders, highlighting key trends and insights.
- Ensure timely payment of third-party advances and verify their accuracy.
- Review and approve payroll sign-offs before submission to the Finance department.
- Maintain up-to-date Payroll Manuals and Workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new processes and recommend improvements.
- Proven track record in payroll data administration and team management.
- Specialist knowledge of payroll systems, taxation, and national insurance rules.
- Strong leadership and management skills to lead, develop, and motivate a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and competing priorities.
- Strong relationship management skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
