Senior Architect Job in Nottingham, East Midlands

Join a top-ranked AJ100 practice and work with blue-chip clients on concept to completion fit-out projects. This role offers a unique opportunity to pave your way to the senior leadership team. The client is flexible with this role, making it an ideal fit for associates and mid-level architects with the correct experience.

This company has a strong history of delivering large-scale projects across public and private clients in the UK. With a robust pipeline over the next few years, they seek a Senior Architect to assist with the growth of their retail team. This will be the first hire in the coming months as they build this team to support their pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with clients, regularly visiting sites and presenting to them
  • Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors
  • Manage projects from concept to completion
  • Occasionally assist with AutoCAD/ Revit drawings
  • Travel to sites occasionally

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5-10 years of experience
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; Revit experience is desirable
  • Experience working in retail projects is preferred
  • Previous experience managing fit-out projects end-to-end
  • Previous experience working within a team
  • Highly skilled in communicating with clients, managing expectations, and working with clients and stakeholders
  • Good understanding of UK building regulations and legislation, fire strategies, etc.
