Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Practice Nurse to join our team and lead our nursing staff to continued excellence.

Main Duties of the Job

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a primary care setting, with a strong focus on chronic disease management. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients within the GP surgery setting
  • Conducting patient assessments and managing common health conditions
  • Administering medications and treatments
  • Providing health education and counseling to patients and their families
  • Working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Registered Nurse qualification and current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
  • Non-Medical Prescriber qualification
  • Previous experience working in a primary care or GP surgery setting
  • Sound knowledge of general practice nursing procedures and best practices
  • Competency in conducting patient assessments and managing common health conditions
  • Proficient in administering medications and treatments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Working Hours and Benefits
