Role Summary:
As a Senior Utilities Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering professional engineering services to support the Utilities Engineering Team Leader in providing essential utility services to various facilities and assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize your expertise in civil and structural engineering to conduct design activities related to water and wastewater systems.
  • Engage in design reviews, calculations, and strategic assessments to ensure the integrity and efficiency of utility networks.
  • Collaborate with operational teams, project groups, and senior management to facilitate effective utility service delivery.
  • Maintain high standards in environmental, safety, health, and quality management.

Accountabilities:
  • Ensure compliance with management system requirements for Utilities Engineering.
  • Provide engineering insights to enhance the performance of utility networks.
  • Oversee the availability and maintenance of utilities plant and infrastructure.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with network plant equipment.

Qualifications:
Candidates should possess:
  • Relevant qualifications such as HNC/HND or a degree in engineering, with additional experience preferred.
  • Experience in an industrial or utilities setting, particularly in civils/structural water and wastewater.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver engineering solutions across various networks.
