Hunter AHP Resourcing is seeking an experienced Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) or Social Worker for a locum position in the Community Mental Health Team (CMHT). This is a clinical oversight and support role, providing clinical expertise and guidance to the team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical oversight of the triage process for routine referrals, ensuring that patients receive the most appropriate care pathway.
- Review and assess referrals completed by Band 4 Clinical Support Assistants daily, identifying and actioning appropriate care pathways.
- Support the CMHT in streamlining triage processes and decision-making, ensuring efficient and effective care delivery.
- Requirements:
- Registered Mental Health Nurse with valid NMC registration or Registered Social Worker with valid SWE registration.
- Previous experience in community mental health settings, ideally within a Band 6 role.
- Excellent assessment, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Band 6 clinician looking for a varied and fulfilling role, where you will play a key part in ensuring patients receive the most appropriate care pathway.
