Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Aldena Associates Ltd. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating projects from inception through to completion, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Management:
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
    • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines.
    • Monitor and track project progress.
  • Attend client meetings and deliver honest and reliable progress reports both internally and externally
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring collaboration and effective communication.
    • Identify priorities, tasks, and responsibilities.
    • Provide guidance, support, and feedback to team members.
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Build lasting relationships with clients through excellent communication and service
    • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Understand our client's goals, the project requirements, and act as the wise adviser to ensure all aspects of the project are delivered to our client's expectations
  • Risk Management:
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure projects are delivered to the highest quality standards.
    • Implement and oversee quality control processes.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
  • Prepare and present regular project reports and updates.
    • Maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Person Specification, skills and experience:

  • Confidence to attend face-to-face and online meetings
  • Effective communicator, clear and concise, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to develop relationships and maintain close interaction with key contacts at all levels
  • Responsible in taking ownership of allocated projects
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality
  • Good organizer and record keeper
  • Self-disciplined forward planner and risk assessor
  • Problem solver and decision maker, able to consider implications of any action taken
  • Able to use initiative, recognize when support is needed, and seek that support in a timely manner
  • Capacity to understand product/specification/drawings/installation applications
  • Capacity to understand where our customer, client, consultant, specifier, tier 1, and sub-contractors and distributors fit within our sectors.
  • Effective worker when under pressure
  • Skilled at Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Hands-on experience of a CRM/ERP system would be advantageous

The role will be office-based at our factory in Sutton, Surrey, and there would be a regular requirement to attend meetings and site visits at client premises or project site locations throughout the UK. There would be a full induction process commencing at our factory location.
