We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Porter Assistant. As a key member of our department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support services.
Key Responsibilities- Transfer patients between wards and departments with care and efficiency
- Handle waste and maintain a clean and safe environment
- Respond to security concerns and provide support as needed
- Assist with furniture moves and mortuary duties
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Literacy and numeracy skills
- Basic knowledge of Health & Safety, COSHH, Moving & Handling, and Food Hygiene
- Experience of dealing with the general public
We welcome applications from individuals with:
- Good general education
- Food Safety Level 2 Certificate
- Welcome Host Certificate
- Health and Safety, COSHH, Moving and Handling training
While not essential, proficiency in Welsh is desirable.
Working ArrangementsYou will be required to work flexibly as needed, including weekends and bank holidays.
