Audit Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Director to join our team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our audit department, you will be responsible for leading a team of experienced auditors and ensuring the highest standard of service is provided to our diverse client portfolio.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audit and a proven track record of leading teams and securing new business. You will be a natural leader with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a commercial mindset with a drive for business growth.
As an Audit Director at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd, you will have the opportunity to work with a highly regarded accountancy practice in Stoke on Trent, delivering a full suite of accountancy support and business advice to a growing client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of experienced auditors and ensure the highest standard of service is provided to our client portfolio.
- Use a commercial mindset to strategically drive the firm's offering and nurture a network of prospective clients.
- Support the Partnership team in the delivery of excellence across the whole firm.
- Build trusted and long-lasting relationships with clients.
- Confidently represent the firm at networking opportunities.
- Train audit staff, providing constructive and supportive mentorship.
- Set an example for the team as a natural leader.
