We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Radiographer to join our Radiography Department in Croydon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Imaging Services: Conduct magnetic resonance imaging procedures to best practice standards, adhering to MHRA Guidance 2015, IR(ME)R 2017, and Code of Clinical Practice.
- Patient Care: Provide exceptional patient experience, supporting them through the scanning process from referral to results.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform quality assurance checks on equipment and take appropriate action to ensure optimal performance.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with colleagues in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, sharing knowledge and clinical experience to support team growth and development.
- Education: BSc Radiography or equivalent qualification.
- Registration: Membership of an appropriate professional body and holds a valid registration with the HCPC.
- Technical Skills: Good understanding of fundamental MRI physics and different scanning techniques and sequences.
- Professional Attributes: High level of professionalism, technical standard of work, and aptitude towards improving quality.
- Communication Skills: Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, communicate effectively with patients and colleagues, and understand the implications of the Data Protection Act, Caldicott Principles, and GDPR.
