Fire Alarm Engineer Job Description

Operations Resources is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Field Service Engineer to undertake Service Calls, PPM's and Reactive Maintenance calls on a variety of Fire Alarm systems in the Leicestershire area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake Service Calls, PPM's and Reactive Maintenance calls on Fire Alarm systems
  • Work on a variety of Fire Alarm systems in the Leicestershire area
  • Standard hours are Mon - Fri 09.00 - 17.00 - optional flexible working available
  • Earn a minimum underlying basic of £34 - £36,000, with targets to hit a number of calls per day to earn £45,000 per annum
  • Additional hours worked or travelled are paid as overtime, as well as an inconvenience on call payment + any hours worked on call are paid x1.5
  • On-call commitment 1 week in 4 (1 in 7 for larger teams), overtime paid if called out at x1.5 and a late start if called out the evening before
  • Full Time Permanent PAYE job with: Pension, paid holiday, Company van (business + personal use), tools, uniform, PPE provided, and all expenses: fuel, parking etc.
