Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a top North West London SEN school based in Camden.

The ideal candidate will have good ASD knowledge and some experience of PECS and Makaton, but the key to the job is attitude and a willingness to get stuck in.

The role involves working with Key Stage 2 pupils who have significant delays in their academic and social ability, and personal care (feeding and changing) is a part of the job.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with children with ASD and has the energy and enthusiasm to bring to the role.

Role Information

The successful candidate will be working in a class of 8 pupils alongside another experienced SEN TA and a specialist ASD Teacher.

The children can be "active", so you will need to be able to concentrate, multitask, and bring energy and enthusiasm to the job.

The ideal candidate will have good communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
