Dialysis Support Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Diaverum. As a key member of our renal care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals undergoing dialysis treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with dialysis treatments, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Conduct health checks and monitor patients' vital signs before and after dialysis.
- Prepare and maintain clean equipment and supplies, adhering to strict hygiene protocols.
- Escort patients to clinical and waiting areas, providing emotional support and reassurance.
- Serve refreshments and engage with patients in a friendly and approachable manner.
- GCSE level or equivalent education.
- Minimum NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting, preferably in renal care.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
- A competitive salary of up to £23,532, depending on experience.
- A full-time position, 37.5 hours per week, with a range of shift patterns to suit your needs.
- Overtime paid at time and a half after completing full-time hours.
