The Role: Drainage Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Drainage Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of drainage systems across Slough and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough drainage surveys and assessments to identify potential issues and recommend effective solutions.
  • Execute jetting operations to clear blockages and maintain the efficiency of drainage systems.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers and engineering staff to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Maintain accurate records of all drainage works performed and prepare detailed reports for clients and management.
  • Adhere to strict health and safety regulations during all on-site tasks.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in drainage works and engineering support.
  • Proficiency in jetting techniques and the operation of relevant equipment.
  • Confined Space Training (CSE) is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of CCTV drainage systems is beneficial but not essential.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Valid driving license.
