Job Summary:
Morson Talent Careers is seeking a highly skilled Design Authoriser to join our Plant Engineering Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading design investigations and formulating technical solutions to support the Wing Component Delivery Team.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be part of a fast-paced team that delivers high-quality design support to meet the needs of the Plant. Your primary function will be to provide reactive and proactive lineside support to the Plant and enable Wings to be delivered to the Final Assembly Lines (FALs). You will also identify, investigate, and provide technical solutions for production easements, including structural and systems modifications for rate, cost improvements, and production and quality easements in the Plant, FALs, and supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design investigations and formulate technical solutions for production easements
- Provide reactive and proactive lineside support to the Plant
- Enable Wings to be delivered to the FALs
- Identify, investigate, and provide technical solutions for structural and systems modifications
- Deliver flow mods, significant mods, and major mods for production easements
Requirements:
- Aviation experience is essential for this role
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of design and engineering principles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
