Warehouse Shift Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Shift Manager to lead our Twilight Shift team in the Newstrade Warehouse. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our magazine distribution services to 10,000+ retail customers across England and Scotland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate the Twilight Shift team to meet customer timescales and improve productivity and quality standards.
- Ensure team productivity targets are achieved and provide regular reports to the Operations Manager.
- Provide training to all staff to ensure they can undertake their duties effectively, efficiently, and safely.
- Ensure all staff have completed the necessary Health & Safety training and maintain a safe, clean, and tidy warehouse environment.
- Manage the end-to-end warehouse functions and processes, including prioritizing daily tasks and maintaining a cool head under pressure.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year's relevant working experience within a Distribution or Logistics environment.
- A proven track record of effective people management and experience of delivering expanding operational KPI's.
- Excellent communication skills, a common-sense approach to problem-solving, and computer literacy.
- Comfortable working to strict deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively.
