Job Title: After School Club Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead our after school club program at Summerhill Infant School. As an After School Club Manager, you will be responsible for creating a safe, stimulating, and fun environment for children to thrive.

The successful candidate will have a passion for working with children and young people, and will be able to build strong relationships with parents, school staff, and colleagues. You will be responsible for ensuring that all children are safe, happy, and engaged in activities that promote their physical, emotional, and social development.

We are looking for someone who is organized, supportive, and enthusiastic, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of working with children who may need additional support, and will be able to maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of staff to provide a safe and stimulating environment for children.
  • Develop and implement engaging activities that promote children's physical, emotional, and social development.
  • Build strong relationships with parents, school staff, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and effective program.
  • Ensure that all children are safe and happy, and that their needs are met.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working with children and young people from a variety of backgrounds.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with parents, school staff, and colleagues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Good understanding of working with children who may need additional support.
