English Academic Mentor Job Summary

We are seeking an English Academic Mentor to join our team at a leading Secondary school in Tower Hamlets, London. As an English Academic Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students in their academic progression, particularly in English-related subjects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, with the option to teach KS5 students
  • Receive mentorship and training from an outstanding English department
  • Assist students in applying to Russell Group and Oxbridge Universities
  • Support students in a classroom setting, one-to-one, and through small group interventions
Requirements:
  • English-related degree from a Top 20 UK University
  • Experience working with children, ideally in a school setting
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve academic success
