Electrical and Instrumentation Project Engineer - Water Industry

Join a dynamic team at Minstrell Recruitment Ltd and take on a challenging role as an Electrical and Instrumentation Project Engineer in the Water Industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expertise in Electrical and Instrumentation systems within Water industry projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation projects from concept through to completion.
  • Assist with the development and review of Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering designs.
  • Manage installation and commissioning activities.
  • Coordinate key stakeholders to achieve a successful delivery of various projects.
  • Develop and manage commissioning documentation.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of Electrical and Instrumentation, and control & automation systems with the ability to understand and work through electrical drawings and key documentation.
  • Familiar with electrical system installations, MCCs, and control panels.
  • Project engineering or similar role experience.
  • Ability to manage installation and commissioning activities, resolving issues during the process.
  • Familiar and competent with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Desire to work flexibly between site, office, and from home.
  • Ability to attend meetings in various locations as per project requirements.
  • Ability to interpret information and data related to the role.
  • An Engineering Degree or Higher National Certificate (dependent on experience) is essential for this role.
