Consultant in Respiratory and General Medicine
Full-time or Part-time Opportunity
Salary Scale - £96,963 - £128,841 per annum (pro rata if part-time)
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced consultant to join our team of five dedicated professionals in the Department of Respiratory Medicine at Forth Valley Royal Hospital. Following the pandemic, we are rebuilding our service and innovating our approach to respiratory care. The successful candidate will be part of the acute general medical rota, provide in-reach to acute medicine for specialty cases, and have the opportunity to develop a sub-specialty interest.
You can look forward to a supportive and collaborative work environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development. Our hospital is situated in a beautiful location, offering easy access to vibrant towns and excellent cultural and sporting facilities.
Applicants should be registered with the General Medical Council and on the Specialist Register or be within 6 months of the anticipated award of a CCT at the time of interview. Excellent communication, listening, and organisational skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in respiratory medicine
- Participate in the acute general medical rota and provide in-reach to acute medicine for specialty cases
- Develop a sub-specialty interest and contribute to the growth of the Respiratory Medicine service
