Lighting Technician

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Lighting Technician and Designer to join our team at James Webber Recruitment. As a Lighting Technician and Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning lighting effects for live events, including Drag shows, Comedy gigs, Club Nights, and Wrestling events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Report to the Duty Manager and General Manager
• Work closely with on-duty technicians and external promoters
• Design and implement lighting effects to enhance the overall experience of live events
• Collaborate with producers to bring creative ideas to life
• Provide technical support and maintenance for lighting equipment

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of sound and AV systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including day and late-night events
