We are seeking a highly accomplished Design Director with a proven track record in Consumer Packaging (CPG) and Branding to join our esteemed Creative team. Reporting directly to the Creative Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the creative direction of our client projects and fostering a culture of excellence within our design department.

Your Responsibilities
  • Cultivate a vibrant and collaborative work environment by actively sharing your expertise and inspiring your team members through presentations and workshops.
  • Identify areas for growth and development within the team, providing tailored coaching and training opportunities to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • Develop strategic succession plans to ensure the long-term talent pipeline of our design department, proactively seeking out and nurturing emerging creative leaders.
  • Provide constructive feedback on creative work, guiding your team towards delivering exceptional results that align with client objectives and brand strategies.
  • Collaborate effectively with other disciplines within JKR, fostering a seamless workflow and ensuring the highest quality deliverables for our clients.
  • Lead all client-facing presentations with confidence and professionalism, demonstrating a deep understanding of their needs and showcasing our creative solutions in a compelling manner.
  • Develop persuasive pitches that effectively communicate our value proposition and secure new business opportunities.
Your Experience
  • Proven experience working within a top-tier branding, design, or creative agency.
  • Extensive experience managing global CPG projects, ideally at a leadership level.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to develop comprehensive brand strategies across multiple touchpoints.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and mentoring teams of designers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently engage with senior clients and internal stakeholders.
  • A passion for design excellence and a keen eye for detail.
