About the Role

Cathcart Technology is seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer to join their Platform Engineering team. As a Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in building and architecting the infrastructure that supports their market-leading product, Hybrid Working.

The successful candidate will have experience working with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform and Ansible, as well as commercial experience with Azure and Azure DevOps Pipelines. They will also have good SQL skills and experience working within a Linux environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable and secure infrastructure solutions using Terraform and Ansible
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the infrastructure is deployed and maintained correctly
  • Work closely with other teams to ensure the infrastructure is performing well for users
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code tools and scripts
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues
Requirements
  • Commercial experience with Azure and Azure DevOps Pipelines
  • Infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible)
  • Good SQL skills (MsSQL, Azure SQL Database)
  • Working within a Linux environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
