Role Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous and strategic Financial Reporting Specialist to become a vital part of our client's finance team. The ideal candidate will be tasked with generating financial statements, evaluating financial performance, and delivering insights that facilitate informed business decisions. This position is essential for maintaining the financial integrity and operational efficiency of the organization.

Key Duties:

  • Compile monthly financial statements and management reports.
  • Evaluate financial performance, identifying trends, discrepancies, and potential opportunities.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasting activities.
  • Conduct cost evaluations and profitability analyses.
  • Offer financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Support the formulation and execution of financial policies and procedures.
  • Aid in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Work collaboratively with various departments to ensure financial coherence and efficiency.
  • Track key performance indicators and financial metrics.
  • Engage in strategic financial planning and business growth initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Professional accounting certification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, ACA) is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience in a Financial Reporting Specialist or comparable role.
  • Strong skills in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capacity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
  • Proven capability to influence and support business decisions.
