Job Title: Building Manager

We are seeking an experienced Building Manager to join our team at Residential Management Group Ltd. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and maintenance of our residential buildings and their communal areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enhance residents' quality of life by creating a warm and welcoming environment
  • Effectively manage the development, providing a safe and secure environment for residents
  • Manage the call system, door entry, and security systems, ensuring efficient operation of fire defences
  • Ensure compliance with Fire Safety Regulations, ensuring all fire exit doors are closed and clear from obstruction
  • Oversee work undertaken by staff and contractors, reporting any issues to the Property Manager
  • Ensure the communal areas, garden, and grounds are clean and maintained, including litter picking and refuse area tidying
  • Inspect buildings daily to identify any maintenance issues, undertaking minor maintenance tasks as needed
  • Monitor the wellbeing of residents, taking immediate action to summon assistance in the event of an emergency
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Friendly, positive, and flexible work attitude to supporting multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to solve problems with diplomacy, empathy, and patience
  • Able to undertake minor maintenance tasks within communal areas
  • Able to complete administrative tasks using relevant IT systems
