Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Unqualified Teaching Assistant - Autism Support to join our team at EdEx – Education Recruitment. As a Unqualified Teaching Assistant - Autism Support, you will work closely with class teachers to provide support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN/SEMH needs
  • Assist class teachers in delivering core subjects
  • Lead interventions to support pupils' academic and personal development
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement individualized education plans

Requirements:

  • Graduate holding a 1st Class degree or 2:1
  • Experience working with children and SEN/SEMH needs
  • Good understanding of the current curriculum
  • Passion for working with young people

What We Offer:

  • Competitive daily rate: £105 - £110
  • Monday - Friday only
  • Term-time only
