PE Teacher Job Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified or unqualified Female PE Teacher to join our staff team at a lovely secondary school in Greenwich. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching PE across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 to all pupils.

The Role

In this role, you will be teaching a range of indoor and outdoor sports and fitness activities, promoting a holistic approach to PE lessons that improve students' health and wellbeing. You should have a good understanding of the PE national curriculum and be able to teach pupils at all ability levels.

You will work within a small, dedicated PE teaching team and should have an engaging teaching approach, strong classroom management skills, and the ability to inspire pupils. The school is open to applications from both qualified and unqualified teachers with previous experience teaching in a secondary school or academy.

The School

This mixed secondary school is based in the Greenwich area and is a popular choice for the local community. Rated good by Ofsted, the school receives consistently good results in year 11 examinations. There is an established leadership team in place at the school and good opportunities for development across both the school.

Requirements
  • QTS or experience of teaching PE successfully at secondary level
  • Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for PE
