Physiotherapist Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Physiotherapist to join our team at the West Cumberland Hospital. As a Specialist Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to patients with complex medical and elderly care needs.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and experienced team, providing specialist physiotherapy services to patients with a wide range of long and short-term conditions. You will be working in a seamless provision of patient-focused care, ensuring equity of service, patient choice, and high standards of personalised care.

• To practice in accordance with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy Rules of Professional Conduct and The Health Professions Council Regulations.
• To work autonomously with an increasingly complex caseload, undertaking assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and providing appropriate advice.
• To provide a holistic care package tailored to the individual's needs, with the aim of developing maximum function and hence improving quality of life.

• Chartered Society of Physiotherapy recognised Degree / Diploma in Physiotherapy.
• Health Care Professions Council registered.
• Member of The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
• Evidence of post-registration education and / or membership of special interest group associated with Medical / Acute Elderly Care Physiotherapy.
